Gig Intro’s

Now here’s me getting all geeky on my blog again. Something I’ve always loved more than anything else at gigs is a bands intro. The moment the music fades, the lights go down and the band’s intro plays. I’ve seen my fair share of intro’s and now for your enjoyment here are some of my favourites.

Muse Resistance Tour Intro - I went to this gig and I wish they’d release the intro track, it’s amazing! 

Prodigy Omen Reprise - Technically not a intro but they used it to come onto for their encore. The moment when all the movers rise up from behind them was amaze balls.

Prodigy - Again, I love the voices at the start ‘Police have clashed with ravers over noise’ and of course everyone loves a siren!

Pigeon Detectives - They used the strobes and the who! It was really really good!

Anyway that’s my geekyness over. What’s the greatest opening to a gig you’ve ever seen?
